Miranda Hotel’s excited to welcome back a fresh face to our kitchen, Dave Mackay, who will be stepping into the head chef role at the start of next week. So you can expect to see some fantastic changes to our menu in the near future.

As a Shire local originally, having completed the third year of his apprenticeship at Miranda Hotel, Dave knows exactly what residents want and expect from their local pub, great and tasty food at a fair price. Dave has a wealth of experience working in many popular venues such as ‘est.’ and ‘The Royal Sydney Golf Club’. He has just recently returned from working overseas in fine dining in Aspen, Colorado.

Dave is thrilled about the new opportunity. So be prepared as exciting things are in the works and we look forward to sharing this new adventure with all of our customers. Make sure you come and give us a visit ASAP!

We at Miranda hotel strive ourselves on providing fresh, seasonal and innovative food that meets the highest standards. It also enables us to be creative and try new things and give the consumer some variation.
