With a laundry list of some of Australia’s favourite music acts treading the boards in this much loved Southern Sydney institution, the hits are set to continue coming out of the Miranda Hotel, albeit this time, from the kitchen.

Continuing their partnership with Ryans Hotels, Colin Fassnidge and co. make their way over Tom Ugly’s to serve up their produce driven, pub classics with a twist to the heart of the Shire. Located next door to the Westfield precinct, the Miranda Bistro adds to an already exciting dining landscape with fresh, hearty fare that is sure to strike the right chords.

Banksia Bistro and Terminus Hotel Head Chefs Darwin (4Fourteen, Four in Hand) and Jamie Gannon (Laundy Hotels) will be joining Miranda’s Head Chef Dave Mackay, they round up a few of the Banksia and Terminus favourites to feature on the opening menu before taking on a more local direction over time.

A Black Angus beef burger and house made buttermilk schnitzel and gnocchi make an appearance on the seasonally changing menu alongside a baked cauliflower and a trio of steaks. The kitchen dig into their bag of techniques and tricks for some clever cooking for an ever changing specials board for more adventurous palettes.

With the open air dining in the Garden Courtyard the ideal setting for the thoughtful, honest and enticing new menu, just like a good remix, we’re here to make something good a little bit better, that will hopefully leave crowds cheering for an encore again.
